Dr. Héctor Miguel Gómez Vera
About MD Héctor Gómez
MD Héctor Gomez grew up playing different sports. His passion for sports and how competition, victory, and defeat evoke what daily life is like, drove him to begin his medical career. After completing his undergraduate studies he directed his interests to the specialty of Orthopedics and Traumatology; branches of medicine that focus their treatment on preventing injuries or restoring the function of the musculoskeletal system.
During his residency, he began to focus his medical criteria on improving the quality of life of his patients; marked by the innate human warmth characteristic of the graduates from the Antiguo Hospital Civil of Guadalajara.

His ambition to offer the best for his patients lead him to further his specialization. He has completed training in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine and obtained a fellowship abroad in Adult Joint Reconstruction at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin, Germany and an observership at the Cornerstone Orthopedic Institute in Joint Reconstruction and Sports Medicine in Texas, USA.
Currently, he works running his private practice in the City of Guadalajara, maintaining that approach that sports emulate: discipline to achieve victories, and humbleness to learn from defeats. Win, or learn to overcome.
